Chain Restaurants are issuing instructions and special offers for Truck Drivers in the midst of Covid-19. Drivers face a sea of problems in the coronavirus pandemic and one of them is the ability to easily find food. Drivers spend most of their day on the road, making home-cooked meals the stuff of dreams. Prior to the outbreak, diners and sit-down restaurants helped to fuel hungry workers. However, most establishments have shuttered or operate under heavy restrictions now. Thus, drivers find themselves in a pickle.

Fast food seems an obvious option. But many trucks are too large for a drive-thru, and fast-food chains are typically not allowed to serve customers outside of their vehicles. In response to this Catch-22, some chain restaurants have issued special offers and discounts to drivers.

Covid-19 takes enough of a toll on our drivers as it is. Extended hours and increased urgency exhaust much of the force. So, if you are a driver or know a driver in need of a pick-me-up, consult our list of trucking-friendly chain food below.
