In 2020, the coronavirus pandemic really took a toll on all facets of life. This also includes the 4th of July celebrations. There are also parades and fireworks shows that will resume in some of our city communities.
Spirit of America

This year, the 4th of July falls on Sunday, and some celebrations are scheduled for July 3. The town of Havre de Grace will hold a “Spirit of America” festival on July 3 with games, crafts, a bike parade, a patriotic pooch pageant, live entertainment, apple pie bake-off, vendors, food trucks, and more. A parade, concerts, and fireworks display are all set for July 4 in Havre de Grace.
75th Annual Freedom Fest

Then the 75th Annual Freedom Fest and fireworks show will take place in Catonsville. That is a suburb of Baltimore, Maryland. There also will be a bike ride to Fort McHenry. Plus an assortment of kids’ activities and a family fun fest. Moreover, the festivities wrap up with fireworks that night at Catonsville High School.
Independence Weekend in Annapolis

Annapolis also has a lot planned for the holiday starting on July 2nd. In fact, this would include three parades around the city on the morning of July 4th. Tall Ships to tour and fireworks at the City Dock — are all set for July 4.
July 4th BBQ Bash With Live Music

Ellicott City will hold a BBQ Bash and music, while Columbia plans to launch fireworks that night.
In addition, there will be an all-you-can-eat cookout. In addition to live music from Hallow Hill. Also a cash bar on site. Plus no outside alcohol permitted.
